Inspired by a fugu, the Japanese name for a pufferfish, this eye-catching automatic Promaster timepiece from Citizen features a serrated bezel, originally the design for the NY004 model. With earlier Promaster Diving watches created by Citizen historically used in the Italian Navy, you won't be a fish out of water with this one. Presented in an exclusive diver's tank style box which is perfect for gifting, this watch is also ISO-compliant for peace of mind. With around 42 hours of power reserve, the 44mm black Ion-plated stainless steel case features an anti-magnetic uni-directional rotating bezel with easy-grip aluminium rings. The chunky luminous hands and hour markers are highlighted on a dark blue sunray dial with red accents for a splash of colour.
There is a double paddle style marker at 12 o'clock with luminous pip. Functions include a screw-down crown at 8 o'clock with a water resistance to 200 metres, making it suitable for scuba diving. A funky wave style polyurethane black strap is ready to be worn over a wetsuit. With polyurethane having excellent waterproofing properties, it's time to attach to the wrist and go.
