Description
We love how the Olivia Burton team have focused on lace detail to give this watch a luxury yet vintage feel. Lace was first developed in Europe during the 16th century and was always seen as a luxury because of how long it took to make. The finest lace was said to involve the talents and skills of three specialists. There was the artist who created the designs on paper, like our East London team. Then there was the pattern maker who translated the design onto parchment and finally the lace maker who worked directly on the patterns to make the lace.
As you can see, the white lace detail is then matched with versatile silver to give us a look that combines both classic and modern. This dainty watch will happily sit alongside most colour palettes although pastel colours bring out the metallic hues of the silver tones beautifully. In terms of jewellery, most jewel tones work perfectly to complement your Olivia Burton Lace Detail Silver Mesh Watch, but we love turquoise and sea green blues.
