What can you see?
For the longest day of the year, we look up to the sky and see the moon reflected in the textured 34mm dial. The matt white stone of the 34mm dial is a perfect contrast to the sustainably sourced crystals sparkling around the silver dial. Can you see the rose gold bringing warmth to the cool tones of the silver? Meanwhile, the star at 12 o’clock illuminates the scene before us. The pearl effect motifs are like full moons interspersed around the celestial watch in place of markers, whilst the cool tones of the hand dials tell us when to celebrate the magical summer solstice. A silver bracelet strap completes the design for luxury look which will look good whatever time of the year.
In terms of jewellery, this lovely timepiece can happily be worn with either rose gold or silver pieces. Why not mix up both? Enjoy!
It’s almost time..
It’s all about anticipation for the summer solstice. Known to be a time of growth and life and change the word ‘solstice’ comes from the Latin words for the Sun (Sol) and to stand (sistere). It’s the time of year when the position of the rising or setting sun stands still in its movement along the horizon and the designers from the Olivia Burton team have created a celestial story to delight. It’s almost time and we look up at the night sky and wait.
